Mums’ and Dads’ Coffee Break:
The group meets on Wednesdays from 9.00 – 10.00am and later in the Church. Toddlers are always welcome and there are toys available as well as tea/ coffee with biscuits for 50p.
Moggerhanger Meeting Place and Shop:
We are pleased to announce that we are now stocking Franklin’s sausages. Varieties available are Farmhouse, Cumberland and Spanish (spicy). The shop is open from 10 till noon every weekday morning.
The new opening hours for the Village shop are as follows:
Tuesday 10.00am till noon, Wednesday 10.00am till noon (9.00am till noon during term-time), Thursday 10.00am till noon and Saturday 10.00am till noon. Coffees and teas will be available during opening hours as usual.
“Dog Training and Obedience Classes” will be held on Fridays at the Village Hall on a weekly basis from 11.00am till noon.

Moggerhanger Village Hall 100+ Club:
The draw for the Moggerhanger Village Hall 100+ Club took place at St John’s Church Moggerhanger on Tuesday, 5 December. Winners were Pat Reynolds, Victoria Gudgin, Jackie Warren, Mick Rawlins and Joan Broomfield.
The next draw will be on Tuesday, 6 February in St John’s Church, Moggerhanger at 11 am. where the draws for January and February will be made.
Held on Friday, December 8 in the Village Hall, the Whist Drive winners were Avril Lattimer, Den Lamey, Edith Flint, Edna Harrold, Irene Byrne, Jose Baskerville, June Page, Margaret Evans, Pauline Green, Rita Bennett, Tony Green and David Martin.
The next whist drive will be held this evening Friday, December 22 in the Village Hall at 7.30pm.
St John the Evangelist:
Morning Prayers are held in the Church every Tuesday at 9.15am. Anyone who would like to come, member or not, is more than welcome to do so. It’s a nice, quiet, short, reflective time together. We say a formal Morning Prayer, but also leave space for a more informal time of prayer.
The next services at St John’s will be the Village Carol Service on Sunday, December 17 at 6.00pm.
The Crib Service on Sunday, December 24 at 3.00pm Christmas Sung Communion on Monday, December 25 at 9.00am and the Benefice Service on Sunday, December 31 at 11.00am.
Our Christmas Bazaar will be held on Saturday, December 16 with children’s activities, cakes, pickles, preserves, Christmas Plants, Tombola and raffle.
Moggerhanger Gardening Club:
The December meeting will be on Wednesday, December 20 at 7.30 in the Village Hall where Colin Carpenter of Clophill, County Recorder of Bumblebees for Bedfordshire Natural History Society will give a talk.
Refreshments will be available. There will be the usual standard entry charge to members of £3.
