Mums’ and Dads’ Coffee Break:
The group meets on Wednesdays from 9.00 – 10.00am and later in the Church. Toddlers are always welcome and there are toys available as well as tea/ coffee with biscuits for 50p.
Moggerhanger Meeting Place and Shop:
We are pleased to announce that we are now stocking Franklin’s sausages. Varieties available are Farmhouse, Cumberland and Spanish (spicy). The shop is open from 10 till noon every weekday morning.
The new opening hours for the Village shop are as follows:
Tuesday 10.00am till noon, Wednesday 10.00am till noon (9.00am till noon during term-time), Thursday 10.00am till noon and Saturday 10.00am till noon. Coffees and teas will be available during opening hours as usual.
“Dog Training and Obedience Classes” will be held on Fridays at the Village Hall on a weekly basis from 11.00am till noon.

The next whist drive will be held this evening Friday, December 8 in the Village Hall at 7.30pm
Please note, contrary to last week’s issue there will be no Councillor’s surgery with Councillor Frank Firth on Saturday, December 9.
The next Moggerhanger Councillor’s Surgery will be held on Saturday, January 14 from 10.00 to 11.00am at the Playing Field Pavilion.
St John the Evangelist:
Morning Prayers are held in the Church every Tuesday at 9.15am. Anyone who would like to come, member or not, is more than welcome to do so. It’s a nice, quiet, short, reflective time together. We say a formal Morning Prayer, but also leave space for a more informal time of prayer.
The next service at St John’s will be the Family Service on Sunday, December 10 at 9.00am.Church Bazaar:
Our Christmas Bazaar will be held on Saturday, December 16 with children’s activities, cakes, pickles, preserves, Christmas Plants, Tombola and raffle.
Moggerhanger Gardening Club:
The December meeting will be on Wednesday, December 20 at 7.30 in the Village Hall where Colin Carpenter of Clophill, County Recorder of Bumblebees for Bedfordshire Natural History Society will give a talk.
Refreshments will be available. There will be the usual standard entry charge to members of £3.
