MOGGERHANGER REMEMBERS THOSE WHO FELL IN THE WARS
At 10.20 a.m. on the 12 November 1012 thirty people gathered at the Moggerhanger memorial in the Churchyard to remember the fallen and to honour their sacrifice. Gillian Orpin read the prayers, Peter Dean, deputy Chairman of the Parish Council recited the Ode To Remembrance and the names of the men from Moggerhanger who died for their country were read out by Alan George. The photos below were taken during the brief service. The Ode to Remembrance is taken from a 1914 poem, For the Fallen by Laurence Binyon.
