MOGGERHANGER VILLAGE HISTORY

Moggerhanger has been traced back to 1216 and has been known over the centuries by many different names including Mogahangr, Moukerhangre, Morehanger, Mugerhanger and Mogerhanger.

Work will start soon on a brief history of Moggerhanger. As time permits we will add more and more on the history of Moggerhanger and Chalton. In the meantime use the buttons at the side to learn more about the village and area history.
